Slow Moving Traffic At Several Main Highways As At 10 PM

KUALA LUMPUR, July 10 (Bernama) -- Traffic on the North-South Highway leading to the federal capital is reported to remain slow moving at several places as at 10 pm tonight.



PLUS Malaysia Berhad spokesman said many of the vehicles were currently heading to Kuala Lumpur in both directions.



"From the north, the traffic is slow moving from Menora Tunnel to Simpang Pulai layby, Jawi to Bandar Bahru and Kuala Kangsar to Bukit Berapit.



"Traffic in the middle route is also moving slowly from Ipoh Utara at Km263 up to Km290, Gopeng to Ipoh Selatan, Tapah to Sungkai, Bukit Beruntung to Rawang, UPM up to Sungai Besi and Elite Putrajaya Highway to Putra Height," he said when contacted by Bernama here today.



According to the spokesman, traffic from the south heading to the federal capital was also congested at Ayer Hitam to Machap at Km75.3 due to a minor accident.



Meanwhile a spokesman from the Malaysian Highway Authority said traffic was slow from Bentong Barat to Lentang up to Bukit Tinggi and before existing the Gombak Plaza Toll.
