Petronas Organises 'First Aider In Every Home' Training
Last update: 28/09/2013

SIPITANG, Sept 28 (Bernama) -- Petronas has expanded its awareness and corporate social responsibility programme by organising a 'First Aider in Every Home' training programme for the community in the Sabah Urea Ammonia Project here.

Sabah and Labuan Petronas general manager Julita Ontol said the implementation of the programme was in line with Petronas' corporate philosophy which prioritised health and safety among its personnel and the local community.

"During emergency, the presence of a person trained in emergency procedures is crucial before the arrival of a medical officer," she said at the programme held in the Sipitang LIbrary here Saturday.

She said this in her speech at the programme which was also attended by Malaysian Red Crescent Society and Organisational Development Institute director Misnan Kasan.
