Fbm Klci Futures End Lower For 2nd Straight Day

KUALA LUMPUR, June 11 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives settled lower today.

Spot month June 2024 dropped half-a-point to 1,611.0, July 2024 and December 2024 slipped 2.0 points to 1,615.0 and 1,606.5, respectively, while September 2024 shaved 1.5 points to 1,601.0. 

Turnover shrank to 4,867 lots from 6,076 lots on Monday, while open interest narrowed to 48,819 contracts from 50,488 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI fell by 2.88 points to 1,611.49 from yesterday’s close of 1,614.37.
