Fbm Klci Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, May 20 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives traded higher in the early session today.

At 9.24 am, the spot month May 2024 contract advanced 8.5 points to 1,627.5, June 2024 was 9.5 points higher at 1,629.0, September 2024 inched up 9.5 points to 1,616.5 and December 2024 gained 7.0 points to 1,621.0.

Turnover stood at 1,163 lots with open interest totalling 45,196 contracts.

The FBM KLCI improved 8.52 points to 1,625.14 after 44 minutes of trading.
