Fbm Klci Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, April 3 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today.  

At the close, spot month April 2024 declined 12.0 points to 1,540.00, May 2024 fell 13.5 points to 1,541.00, June 2024 decreased 11.0 points to 1,543.00 and September 2024 slid 13.0 points to 1,530.00.

Turnover increased to 10,705 lots from 7,979 yesterday while open interest narrowed to 52,351 contracts from 58,019 previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI shed 10.98 points, or 0.70 per cent, to 1,537.01 from Tuesday’s close of 1,547.99.
