Fbm Klci Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, March 29 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today.  

At the close, spot month March 2024 added 4.5 points to 1,534.5, April 2024 gained 7.5 points to 1,540.5, June 2024 perked up 6.0 points to 1,543.0 and September 2024 was 6.5 points up to 1,532.0.

Turnover dropped to 9,771 lots from 34,186 lots on Wednesday, while open interest narrowed to 54,591 contracts from 87,679 contracts previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI was 5.47 points higher to 1,536.07 from Wednesday’s close of 1,530.60.  

Bursa Malaysia Bhd and its subsidiaries were closed yesterday for Nuzul Al-Quran.
