Fbm Klci Futures Lower In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, May 26 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were lower this morning, tracking the weaker underlying cash market.  

At 9.45 am, spot month May 2023 decreased 5.0 points to 1,396.0, June 2023 slid 4.0 points to 1,396.5, September 2023 shed 5.5 points to 1,385.5, and December 2023 lost 3.0 points to 1,387.5.  

Turnover stood at 7,417 lots, while open interest amounted to 47,859 contracts.

The FBM KLCI eased by 1.98 points to 1,400.50 from 1,402.48 at yesterday’s close.
