FBM KLCI futures end lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, tracking the underlying cash market.

At the close, September 2022 slipped 12.5 points to 1,421.0, October 2022 declined 10 points to 1,424.0, December 2022 shed 9.5 points to 1,424.5 and March 2023 fell 11 points to 1,413.0.

Turnover reduced to 5,884 lots from Thursday’s 7,390 lots, while open interest shrank to 40,214  contracts from 41,516 previously.

At 5 pm, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) slipped 14.18 points, or 0.99 per cent, to 1,424.98  from Thursday's close of 1,439.16.
