KLCI futures higher in early trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 —The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives was lower in early trade on Thursday.

At 9.20 am, October 2021 eased 8.0 points to 1,594.0, November 2021 was 9.5 points lower at 1,591.0, December 2021 fell 6.5 points to 1,592.0, and March 2022 reduced 9.0 points to 1,578.0

Turnover amounted to 1,154 lots, with open interest at 31,000 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI fell 4.83 points to 1,595.55 after 35 minutes of trading.
