KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 14 -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract (FKLI) on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mixed today.

At the close, spot month January 2021 was half-a-sen higher at 1,637.0, February 2021 was unchanged at 1,636.5, March 2021 dropped 6.0 points to 1,631.0 and June 2021 declined one point to 1.624.0.

Turnover eased to 9,031 lots from 9,092 lots yesterday, while open interest widened to 38,336 contracts from 38.139 contracts previously.

The benchmark FBM KLCI slipped 0.98 of-a-point to 1,635.71 compared with 1,636.69 at yesterday’s close.
