KLCI futures end higher

KUALA LUMPUR, June 30 -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today, supported by the positive underlying cash market, a dealer said.

At the close, spot month June 2020 rose 8.0 points to 1,502.5, July 2020 increased 4.0 points to 1,495.0, September 2020 added 6.0 points to 1,480.5 and December 2020 gained 5.0 points to 1,470.0.   

Turnover fell to 13,654 lots from 20,360 lots on Monday, while open interest declined to 42,483 contracts from 50,377 contracts previously. 

The benchmark FBM KLCI ended 6.54 points higher at 1,500.97 today.
