KLCI futures lower at mid-day

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 8 -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower at mid-day today, in line with the weaker underlying cash market. 

At lunch break, spot month November 2019 declined 3.0 points to 1,611.0, December 2019 shed 2.0 points to 1,613.5, March 2020 slipped 0.5 point to 1,609.5 and June 2020 lost 2.0 points to 1,608.0. 

Turnover stood at 3,224 lots, with open interest at 31,138 contracts.

At 12.30 pm, the benchmark FBM KLCI was 1.68 points lower at 1,607.65.
