Gold futures untraded in early session

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 12 -- The gold futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were untraded in the early session today on lack of demand.

Spot month September 2019, October 2019, November 2019 and December 2019 were pegged at RM199.40, RM199.70, RM200.10 and RM201.30 per gramme, respectively.

Volume was nil while open interest stood at 122 contracts.

At 9.30 am, the price of physical gold dropped 36 sen to RM193.68 a gramme from RM194.04 per gramme at 5 pm yesterday.
