KLCI closes higher

KUALA LUMPUR, July 11 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher today in with tandem better cash market.

Spot month July 2019, September 2019 and December 2019 all added 6.0 points to 1683.0, 1680.5 and 1676.5 respectively, while August 2019 added 5.5 points to 1683.0.   

Turnover, however, declined to 4,239 from 4,621 on Wednesday, while open interest slid to 22,226 from 23,665 contracts previously.

The benchmark FBM KLCI was up 0.29 of-a-point to settle at 1,679.26 today.
