Bank Muamalat fetes underprivileged and physically challenged children

KUALA LUMPUR, May 18 (Bernama) -- Some 210 underprivileged and physically challenged children from non-governmental organisations (NGOs) today joined  Bank Muamalat  ‘Breakfast & Furious 6’ event held at the Sime Darby Convention Centre, here today.

 Bank Muamalat  chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Redza Shah Abdul Wahid said the children came from various NGOs including Ehsan Ash-Shakur Welfare Association, Families/Children with Cancer Support Groups, Rumah Bakti Al-Kausar Bangi, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Berkat Kasih (House of Love) and the National Autism Society of Malaysia (Nasom).

“This is the sixth consecutive year that we are holding this event. The children are given joyrides with compliments from Lotus Official Club Malaysia, Lotus Cars Malaysia, BMW Motorrad Club Malaysia (BMWMCM) and  Bank Muamalat  Big Bike Club (ROKEB),” he said. 

At the ceremony, the guests also received special gifts including ‘duit raya’ from  Bank Muamalat
