KLCI futures contract ends higher

KUALA LUMPUR, April 16†(Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI†(FBM KLCI) futures contract (FKLI) on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today as sentiment in the futures market recovered.

Spot month April 2018 up 14 points to 1,885, May 2018 and June 2018 both added 12.5 points each to 1,879.5 and 1,876, respectively while September 2018 rose 13.5 points to 1,874.

Turnover improved to 4,967 lots from 3,746†lots on Friday and†open interest increased to 31,712 contracts from†30,334 contracts.

The†benchmark†FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI† up 10.29 points and†settled at†1,878.76.
