PIDM Appoints Rahamat Bivi As Board Chairman

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 10 (Bernama)--The Malaysia†Deposit Insurance Corporation (PIDM)†has appointed†Datuk Seri Dr†Rahamat Bivi Yusoff as Chairman of its Board†of Directors, for a three-year term, effective Aug 15, 2017.

In a statement today, PIDM†said Rahamat†Bivi†succeeds†Tan Sri Datuk Dr†Abdul Samad†Alias, a long-serving board chairman.

She†has served on the PIDM†board from January 2012 to date, and was†former Director-General of the Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister's Department.

Prior to that, she was the Treasury Deputy†Secretary General, in charge of the Systems and Controls†Division.
