Affin Bank, Affin Islamic Appoint New Chairmen

KUALA LUMPUR, June 22 (Bernama) -- Affin Bank Bhd has appointed Gen (R) Tan Sri Dr Mohd Zahidi Zainuddin as non-independent non-executive Chairman with effect from today.

In a statement today, the bank said, Mohd Zahidi, succeeded Gen (R) Tan Sri Ismail Omar, who has retired from Affin Bank.

Affin Islamic Bank Bhd, the wholly-owned unit of Affin Bank, has appointed Mohd Suffian Haron as the non-independent non-executive Chairman with effect from June 1, 2017, it said.

Mohd Suffian was appointed Director of Affin Islamic in 2006 and Director of Affin Bank in 2009.
