Bank Muamalat Organises Carnival Oh Yeah!

JOHOR BAHARU, Sept 23 (Bernama) -- Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad (BMMB) organised its fifth Carnival Oh Yeah! at car park area of Plaza Angsana, Johor Baharu on Sunday.

Carnival Oh Yeah! Bank Muamalat was organized in conjunction with BMMB’s Current Oh Yeah! Campaign and the entrance is free of charge according to a statement.

A lot of exciting activities for children and adults were available during the carnival such as colouring contests, paintball combat, paintball shooting target, racing 3D simulator, x-box and playstation3.

Twenty exhibitors participated in the carnival and among them were Spyder, Proton, Majlis Agama Islam Johor, UM Land Berhad, DIGI Telecommunication, Drive M7 Energy Drink, RTM, and Al-Hijrah TV.

Those who opened an Oh Yeah! Savings account during the carnival will have the opportunity to go on a Drift rides.

In support of the Carnival, Bank Muamalat Big Bikers Club, "ROKEB," also participated in the carnival which was later joined by 65 bikers from "Johor Bikers".

ROKEB also took part in CSR activities through Bank Muamalat's Tabung Mawaddah.

Four homes received financial support from ROKEB where each homes received RM900 cash and RM200 worth of provisions.

Regional Manager Southern Bank Muamalat, Tuan Haji Kamaruzain bin Ekhwan presented the provisions to each home.

Tuan Haji Kamaruzain also presented the mock prize of RM50,000 to the 2nd place July winner for the Oh Yeah! Campaign, Saraswathy a/p Subramaniam.

The campaign period is from 1 April 2013 and will run for 1 year until 31 March 2014 to increase the Bank's deposits.

The Winners are selected at random by the system where the more the customers make deposits, the better their chances are of winning.

Monthly winners will be vetted and approved by Audit and Shariah Departments.
