CGC Appoints Md Agil As Chairman

KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 (Bernama) -- Credit Guarantee Corp Malaysia Bhd (CGC) has appointed Datuk Md Agil Mohd Natt as chairman effective Wednesday.

In a statement here Thursday, CGC said Md Agil has vast experience in corporate and investment banking as well as corporate and Islamic financing.

Md Agil was Maybank Investment Bank Bhd managing director/chief executive officer from November 2000 to August 2004, it said.

Currently, he sits on the board of Manulife Insurance Bhd and Manulife Asset Management Services Bhd as its independent non-executive chairman and independent non-executive director respectively.
