NEC Establishes New Research Center In Singapore

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 9 (Bernama) -- NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701) announced today the establishment of NEC Laboratories Singapore (NLS), a sophisticated new research center that capitalizes on the latest safety and big data technologies to provide social infrastructure solutions to markets throughout the world.
The NLS is housed within NEC Asia Pacific, NEC's Singapore-based regional headquarters for the Asia Pacific region. The NLS is NEC's fifth research center, following Central Research Laboratories (Japan), NEC Laboratories America, NEC Laboratories Europe and NEC Laboratories China.
