FBM KLCI futures end higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 9 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today. 

At the close, August 2022 and March 2023 rose 5.5 points each to 1,499.5 and 1,480.5 respectively, September 2022 bagged 4.0 points to 1,487.5, while December 2022 gained 1.5 points to 1,485.0.

Turnover decreased to 4,811 lots from 6,138 lots on Monday, while open interest widened to 41,452 contracts from 41,350 contracts previously.

The FBM KLCI gained 1.65 points to end the day at 1,497.68 from Monday’s close of 1,496.03.
