FBM KLCI futures end slightly higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 21 -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended slightly higher on Tuesday. 

At the close, September 2021 and October 2021 gained 5.0 points each to 1,519.5 and 1,519.0, respectively, while December 2021 increased 7.0 points to 1,517.5  and March 2022 advanced 6.5 points to 1,506.5. 

Turnover went down to 6,085 lots from 6,256 lots on Monday, with open interest registered at 43,043 contracts from 44,418 contracts yesterday. 

At 5 pm, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) gained 2.55 points, or 0.17 per cent, to 1,530.44, from Monday’s close of 1,527.89.
