KLCI Futures end lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 21 -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, in line with the underlying cash market.

At the close, spot month February 2020 and March 2020 fell seven points each to 1,532 and 1,523 respectively, while June 2020 and September 2020 were six points lower at 1,521.5 and 1,518.5 respectively.

Turnover depreciated to 5,125 lots from 9,344 lots yesterday, while open interest narrowed to 42,661 contracts versus 45,851 contracts.

At the closing bell, the FBM KLCI erased 3.78 points to 1,531.20 from Thursday's close of 1,534.98.
