KLCI futures close higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 11 -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today.

Spot month September 2019 and October 2019 rose 6.0 points each to 1,594.0 and 1,594.5 respectively, December 2019 added 5.5 points to 1,595.0, while March 2020 was 5.0 points better at 1,589.5.

Turnover, however, declined to 5,773 lots from 8,342 lots yesterday, while open interest decreased to 32,333 contracts from 35,851 previously.

The benchmark FBM KLCI ended 6.45 points higher at 1,602.30.
