AXA Affin Life Insurance opens new branch at Seremban 2
Last update: 18/07/2019

SEREMBAN, July 18 (Bernama) -- AXA Affin Life Insurance Bhd (AXA Affin Life) has opened a new branch office at Seremban 2 here, marking its 10th branch in the country.

Its chief executive officer Rohit Nambiar said the latest branch aims to increase customer contact frequency by offering in-branch solutions and providing an extensive array of medical, health, saving and life protection products.

“We are thrilled to be expanding our footprint into the vibrant community of Seremban. As a customer focused life insurer, we believe our purpose of empowering people to live better lives will met the same core values and insurance needs of people here,” he told Bernama at the opening ceremony here, today.

He added as life insurers, “our main concern is primarily on the insurance penetration rate.”

“Bank Negara Malaysia aims to reach a penetration rate of 75 percent by 2020. As of today, we are only hitting less than 55 per cent, which clearly shows that the market is underinsured,” said Rohit.
