AirAsia Group incorporates subsidiary in Thailand

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 14 (Bernama) -- AirAsia Group Bhd has incorporated AirAsia Group (IHQ) Ltd (AAGIHQ) in Thailand to provide consultation and services on behalf of the company to subsidiaries and its associates.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, AirAsia Group Bhd said the total issued share capital of AAGIHQ is THB20 million (RM2.5 million) comprising 200,000 ordinary shares.

The company holds 199,997 ordinary shares and three other individuals have one ordinary share each in AAGIHQ. 

"The incorporation of AAGIHQ is not expected to have an immediate effect on the issued and paid-up share capital or substantial shareholders’ shareholding in the company," AirAsia Group said.
