KLCI futures contract ends mostly lower

KUALA LUMPUR, June 14 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mostly lower amid the weaker underlying cash market. 

Spot month June 2018 fell 4.0 points to 1,757.5, July 2018 decreased 2.5 points to 1,763.0, September 2018 went up 1.5 points to 1,765.0 and December 2018 shed 5.0 points to 1,757.0.  

Turnover slid to 6,768 lots from 6,984 lots on Wednesday while open interest went up to 37,529 contracts from 37,205 contracts yesterday.  

The underlying benchmark FBM KLCI fell 1.79 points to 1,761.78.
