KLCI futures contract higher at mid-day

KUALA LUMPUR, May 17 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives was higher at mid-day today in line with the firmer cash market.

At 12.30 pm, May†2018 bagged†2.5 points to 1,857,†June 2018 rose five points to 1,858, September 2018 increased 4.5 points to 1,855 and December 2018 advanced 6.5 points to 1,854.5.

Turnover stood at 2,591 lots, while open interest amounted to 31,500 contracts.

The underlying benchmark FBM KLCI was 4.91 points better at 1,863.17.
