RAM Ratings Withdraws AmBank Islamic's Issue Rating

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 5 (Bernama) -- RAM Ratings†recently received confirmation that AmBank Islamic Bhd had fully†redeemed and cancelled its RM2 billion Subordinated Sukuk Musyarakah Programme (2011/2026).

"As such, we have withdrawn the AA3/Stable rating and no longer have†any rating obligation in respect of the facility," said the rating firm in a statement here today.

However, RAM would†maintain surveillance on the Bank's AA 2 /Stable/P1 financial institution ratings and the†RM3 billion Senior Sukuk†Musyarakah†Programme (2010/2040) (AA2/Stable)†and RM3 billion Subordinated Sukuk†Murabahah Programme (2014/2044) (AA3/Stable).
