HSBC Appoints Amreek, Omar As Co-heads Of Global Banking For Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 28 (Bernama) --†HSBC†Bank Malaysia Bhd†has appointed Amreek Singh and Omar Mahmoud as Co-Heads of Global Banking for Malaysia.

In a statement today, †Chief Executive Officer,†Mukhtar Hussain said the†appointments reflected†the bank's†commitment in enhancing†its†management capabilities†and focus.

"Malaysia is a crucial component of HSBC's strategy and success in the ASEAN region.We believe Amreek and Omar†will bring a wealth of experience†and†build on our existing excellent franchise," he added.

Both appointees would†be based in Kuala Lumpur.
