AmInvestment Bank Wins 'Best Sukuk House Of The Year 2017' Award At 7th GIFA

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 11 (Bernama) -- AmBank Group's investment banking arm, AmInvestment Bank Bhd, has won the 'Best Sukuk House of the Year 2017' award at††the seventh Global Islamic Finance Awards 2017 (GIFA) in Astana, Kazakhstan on Sept 6, 2017.

In a statement today,†AmBank Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Datuk Sulaiman Mohd Tahir, said the award further underscored the Islamic finance expertise and capabilities the company had built up over the years.

"It is truly an honour for all of us at AmBank to receive this international recognition for the first time, and it is also a prestigious addition to our many awards and accolades received this year," he said.

AmInvestment CEO/ Managing Director, Raja Teh Maimunah Raja Abdul Aziz,†said the recognition reaffirmed the company's capability to leverage on its position as a leading sukuk house that continuously reinforced its pole position in innovations in the realm of Islamic finance.

The GIFA, organised†by Edbiz Corp, a London-based international Shariah advisory firm, aims at recognising the most outstanding Islamic finance and banking industry players worldwide.
