2 Killed In Accident Involving 6 Vehicles In Serdang

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 5 (Bernama) --Two men were killed in a six-vehicle collision near the Serdang KTM Komuter station near here today.
The collision at about 6.30pm involved a cement mixer lorry, Honda HR-V, Proton Saga, Nissan Sentra, Kia Pregio and a motorcycle.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Mohd Sani Harul said the crash occurred when the lorry driven by a 25-year-old man went out of control and swerved into the opposite lane before hitting the five other vehicles.
He identified the dead as Shafie, 31, (only one name available) who was driving the Honda HR-V, and the motorcyclist, a man in his 50s.
Shafie's wife, Norhaily, 28, (also only one name available) and their four-year-old child were injured while nine others involved in the crash escaped unhurt.
Mohd Sani said the full information on the victims was still unknown and the bodies were sent to the Serdang Hospital.
